This one took many layers to get the right effect I was looking for.

I liked how this one turned out

This one is my favorite of them all, and took me the longest to do.

These are my favorites of my new works, a lot of fun to create.
Wow! Great job. I wouldn't have a clue as how you did this but, I sure did enjoy the viewing. :)
Very cool indeed! It would be interesting to hear what effects you used.
Very cool! I'd have to say that the last one is my favorite, too.
Quite entertaining! Quite interesting! What are they :) How'd you do that?
All of these I started off making a new file, with the background black. Then I started adding layers, and using the paint brushes with my photoshop program. I just played with them at first, figured out what brushes did what effects, learned how the layers work together, and played a little bit with the filters in some of them, but for the three here, I did all those with the brushes and layers. It was like painting with a mouse :-) These are inspired by the hubble telescope pictures, I've always found those so facinating, so when I found an effect that looked similar to a galaxy, I ran with it and just started making my own fictional worlds an galaxies and stars. I had these three here hanging at tonights art show, and I had one guy actually ask me if I took the photos with a telescope. I was honored that they looked convincing enough to be real to him.
I had no idea that program allowed all that creativity with no base picture to start from. I guess I never thought outside the box since I use it as a photo-touch up. These are amazing and real looking. Thanks Tess for the explanation.
