Foto-Friday, guitars and pianos

My parents' five string bass. Had to throw some color in this one too

My little sister's guitar. I can't play them, but both my younger sisters are talented with guitars.

Had to add a little splash of color in this one.

The pedals to this antique piano

The keys are a bit chipped.

This old piano is the one I learned how to play on when I was a kid. I'm not nearly as old as it is, I believe it's at least 100 years older than I am.

I've always loved music. I'm not talented in playing it, I can play a little piano. The piano here was the one my dad taught me a little on, everything I know about playing them anyway I learned on this one. Music is another one of my favorite art forms.

Filling the frame with a subject is one of the most frequently overlooked keys to a successful image; these hit the mark!

What a great series! I love the perspectives you show us by picking only parts of the instruments. Nicely done!

That's a very nice series of photos! I also like that you chose only parts of the instruments to display.

Musical instruments always seem to evoke emotions and memories. Keep going with this series, Tess, I am sure there is lots more to explore with these subjects.
